TDI-series Ultra-High Energy Thyratrons
TDI-series Ultra-High Peak Power Thyratrons - Pseudospark Switches with Hollow Cathode or Copper-Arc Switches are manufactured exclusively by Pusletech:
- high-voltage capability up to 150 kV
- peak current up to 250 kA
- pulse repetition rate up to 300 Hz
- switching energy per shot up to 50 000 J
- anode current rate of rise up to 10 MA/us
- hollow anode versions can handle reverse currents, designated as -H in the part name.
- in special triggering schemes provide anode delay time jitter below 10 ns.
- fast and reliable replacement of power thyristors, ignitrons and triggered vacuum switches, thanks to low self-inductance and high stability of time characteristics
- for increased reliability when operating at high switching current values, a specially designed thyratron with additional screens is used, designated as S in the part name.
- Any thyratron of the TDI series can be manufactured in a version that allows the device to operate without a regular supply of hydrogen reservoir heater voltage - the filament-free SN version.
- Double-ended thyratrons are available upon special request
Thyratron trigger systems, incorporating reservoir and getter current-stabillized power supplies are available upon request.
