TDI-series cold cathode thyratrons  
   
General description  
   

TDI-series high power thyratrons (patented in Russia and USA) with arc-discharge in copper electrode vapours are intended for switching of capacitive storage with microsecond pulse duration.

The tubes have metal ceramic envelope and filled with hydrogen at 20-60 Pa.

  • Anode voltages up to 150 kV
  • Peak currents up to 200 kA
  • Coulomb transfer up to 100 C per pulse
  • Total charge transfer over 2 000 000 C

Notes:

1) The ratings are maximal, non-simaltaneous.

2) Hollow anode thyratrons (H-version) for applications where oscillating currents appear are available upon request.

3) Modifications without permanent heating of hydrogen reservoir, signified as SN, are availble on request.
